October Fall Foliage Tour - Get your official passport and travel to seven area shops during the month of October 08.  With a $5 min. purchase, get your passport stamped at each shop, plus be eligible for that shop's Gift basket valued at $50+.  Travel to all seven shops and get your passport stamped for a chance to win a Pfaff Classic Style Quilt Sewing Machine (retail value $899).  Participating shops include The Moose Patch, Waverly, Dralle's Dept. Store, Greene, Lulijune's Quilt Shop, Cedar Falls, Crazy to Quilt, Cedar Falls, Conrad General Store, Conrad, Fiberworks, Waverly, and Jen's Needleworks, Aplington.  Passports are $2.  

Our 4th Annual Moose Patch Quilt Retreat will be held Fri - Sun. (Oct 31 - Nov 2) at the EWALU Camp & Retreat Center located near Strawberry Point, Ia. 

This large facility is perfect for a "pieceful" weekend away from all distractions....you'll get to focus on cutting, sewing, pressing, quilting, or whatever...along with other quilting enthusiasts.  The retreat also includes a free mystery project for each participant. 

The weekend begins Friday anytime after 2:00 pm and lasts until Sunday 2:00 pm.  The cost includes meals prepared by the camp staff for Saturday morning and evening, as well as a brunch on Sunday.  The Moose Patch provides beefburgers for Friday evening and everyone is asked to bring a snack or goodie to share at the treat table.  Believe me, food is not a problem.   Sleeping accommodations are "camp style bunks" with shower and restroom facilities all located in the same building. 

Cost is $95.00 (if payment rec'd before Sept 15) or $110 per person thereafter
